Just a note wishing you all a very Happy New Year.
Thanks to each of you who have supported my writings during the past year. I hope you will continue do so in the new year.
I hope we can continue to look past the labels we place on one another and see the human being, learning to love and accept each other even in our differences.
As I said in my Christmas Memories article, enjoy the memories of 2017 and enjoy making new memories during this holiday season.
As we look forward to what lies ahead, I pray 2018 will be a year of good things for all of us.
Happy New Year!!
We will certainly pray that rehab helps her. I realize this is a hard time for you and ask for the peace and comfort of our Father for you.

Her right side is numb, since the stroke occurred on the left side. It appears to have occurred from a blockage in a vessel. They could not give her a clot buster because of her age. Usually clot busters cannot be given past the age of 82 because they can cause brain bleeding. We chose Rehabilitation route. She was moved to a Rehab facility yesterday. She has become very disoriented and slurred speech.
I truly appreciate you and your wife praying for my Mom. This weighs heavy on me.

Sorry to hear about your mom. How much was she affected by the stroke? My wife and I will be praying for her also. Praying also that 2018 will be a good year for us all. Happy New Year to you and Happy Birthday although the circumstances were not so good. Thanks for reading my articles.

I wish you a happy New Year also. I turned 70 today. It wasn’t such a Happy birthday because my mom ( 92 years old) had a stroke on Christmas day. I am deeply saddened by this and pray for recovery. I had to cast my cares on Father because He cares.
I have had wonderful memories though, in 2017.
Look forward to your writings in 2018. God bless.
